UbisoftMotion Pictures kündigte ihr neues Projekt The Division, mit den für den Academy Award nominierten Schauspielern Jessica Chastain (Der Marsianer, Interstellar, The Help, Zero Dark Thirty) und Jake Gyllenhaal (End of Watch, Nightcrawler – Jede Nacht hat ihren Preis, Southpaw), an.

Bühne frei für den The Division Film

Nach Assassin’s Creed wird somit auch The Division zum Kinodebüt kommen. Ubisoft Motion Pictures wird gemeinsam mit Gyllenhaals und Riva Markers (Beasts of No Nation) Nine Stories Productions und Chastains Produktionsfirma Freckle Films an The Division arbeiten.

Jake Gyllenhall …

… wird als nächstes neben Amy Adams in Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals ab dem 18. November 2016 zu sehen sein. Er hat kürzlich die Dreharbeiten zu Bong Joon Hos Okja beendet und beginnt diese Woche die Aufnahmen zu Daniel Espinosas Life. Mithilfe von Nine Stories Productions hat Gyllenhaal außerdem David Gordon Greens kommenden Film Stronger produziert, in dem er die Hauptrolle spielt.

Jessica Chastain …

… wird als nächstes in John Maddens politischem Thriller Miss Sloane und Niki Caros Adaption des Romans The Zookeeper’s Wife von Diane Ackerman neben Daniel Brühl spielen. Außerdem wird sie neben Idris Elba die Hauptrolle in Aaron Sorkins Adaption von Molly Blooms Memoiren Molly’s Game und in Susanna Whites historischem Drama Woman Walks Ahead spielen.
