Die Nominierten für The Game Awards 2025 wurden bekannt gegeben. Ein Titel sprengt dabei sogar einen Rekord – Hut ab, Sandfall!

Über The Game Awards 2025

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 hat 12 Nominierungen erhalten und ist damit das am meisten nominierte Spiel in der Geschichte der Auszeichnungen, gefolgt von den PlayStation-Titeln Death Stranding 2: On the Beach sowie Ghost of Yōtei mit jeweils acht Nominierungen und Hades II mit sechs Nominierungen. Sony Interactive Entertainment ist der meistnominierte Verlag der Game Awards im Jahr 2024 mit 19 Nominierungen, gefolgt von Kepler Interactive mit 13 Nominierungen und Microsoft und Electronic Arts mit jeweils 10 Nominierungen. Die Nominierten für Game of the Year sind Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hades II, Hollow Knight: Silksong und Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Um den Preis für das beste unabhängige Spiel rittern Absolum, Ball x Pit, Blue Prince, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hades II und Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Die Nominierungen für die beste Musik und Musik gehen an Christopher Larkin für Hollow Knight: Silksong, Darren Korb für Hades II, Lorien Testard für Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Toma Otowa für Ghost of Yōtei und Woodkid und Ludvig Forssell für Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. Sämtliche Nominierten für die Game Awards 2025 wurden von Gastgeber und Produzent Geoff Keighley während eines Live-Streams am Montag bekannt gegeben und von einer abstimmenden Jury aus Medienpublikationen ausgewählt. Insgesamt gibt es 27 Auszeichnungen zu gewinnen (siehe die vollständige Liste der Nominierten unten), wobei die Gewinner durch eine gemischte Abstimmung zwischen der abstimmenden Jury (90 %) und der öffentlichen Abstimmung der Fans (10 %) bestimmt werden. Von heute bis zum 11. Dezember um 3 Uhr morgens können Fans über die Online-Abstimmung auf www.thegameawards.com für ihre Gewinner in allen Kategorien abstimmen. Danach kommt ein YouTube-Stream!
